OK this is just my opinion,I own both the PS3 and the Xbox 360.And I've had countless hours due to the ice storm here to demo these with two of their premier games,Gears of War,and Resistance.The Blue Ray is nice except that the disks are 30.00 bucks a piece.I'm going to be short with the games,the PS3 is nothing more than a PS2 on graphics steroids,I see no change really except it's in HD.Gears of War blows Resistance right out of the water,IMO the 360 rules on all aspects.360 games,HD,storyline on games,and the simplicity of set up makes the 360 a beautiful console.I will have to try and talk myself into keeping the PS3,I feel as if I foolishly bought something just because of the hype,and am extremely dissapointed,long live the PS2.

Give the PS3 time for games. Like over year, that the 360 been out. I am very happy with the PS3. The PS3 from the PS2, the 360 from the XBOX, the PS3 is one hell of a leap forward. Its way more than just advanced graphics.

Lost planet is fun... who doesnt like shooting aliens?? Just dont pay any attention to the story. Graphics are very nice...

I notice alot in Resistance alot of the same movements as in the PS2 games where characters will slide out of the picture or get stuck in twitching movement,I've never had any of that in GOW or any game for that matter on the 360,don't get me wrong I like the PS3,just a little down about the hype that was created for a console that really wasn't ready yet,this is my second PS3 due to the first one with an HDMI issue.And GOW looks alot better than Resistance in 1080i to me.

Gears of War has a heck of a lot more polish than Resistance, so of course it's going to be better in that regard, Graphics, Art Direction etc.

It will take at least a year before the developers truly get into the ps3 groove and start putting out the amazing games that push it to it's limits. 360 should just now be starting to hit it's stride. I'm in no rush on either of them.

Yes, and as of yesterday at least ten new titles in the next 2 months. I am sure some 360 "next gen" games are on the way, like FEAR.

PS3 blows! Every time I play it I get sick,after playing the 360.And you guys that say the CPU and GPU are more advanced than the 360 are nuts.Go to IGN.com and check out the E3 comparison of the two,the memory system bandwidth in the 360 is 5 times that of the PS3 and the GPU has more processing power than the PS3,blue ray? Who gives a ****?HD DVD?OH yeah!In the year or so you are waiting for the PS3 God to come the 360 will have advanced even farther.I've done my research and the 360 is hands down better on paper and in gaming.So why not stay with the winner.I will.

What is it about video game systems that brings out the whiny little girl in people? ...and the funniest thing is that it always starts with "Well I own both systems, so I have an unbiased opinion" Any credibility in you "unbiased" opinion just went out the door with your last post son.

Which ever console you choose stick with one and don't look back, life is too short. Main reason why I stick w/ my 360 and not bother with any other
