bipole/dipole
I'm new to this whole bipole/dipole thing.
I just bought a pair f/x 300i for my surrounds. They are on the side walls beside the viewer.
I have two questions.
1. In dipole mode, when I put my ear up to the speaker, is it normal for the front side(tweeter, woofer) to be louder than the rear(tweeter only)? The tweeter only side sounds lower with a little echo.
2. Is the switch from dipole to bipole an obvious difference in sound? Again with my ears up close to the front and rear of the speaker, I can't really tell a diference in dipole and bipole.
Like I said, I'm new to this so maybe my ears or not well trained to this sound yet.
