I understand how its supposed to hook up.
Amp Pre-amps to Amp
Amp to Speaker.
Wiring specifically, i have looked on forums where to buy cables.
One of the ones that comes up mainly is Blue Jeans Cables
http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/speaker/index.htm
Now which type of cable from there and what gage?
Also bare wire or plugs? I dont know if any or which plugs fit into teh LSI series....
Also i will need The Cable for Pre-Amp to Amp. Are those just RCA audio cables?
http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/audio/index.htm
Thanks for your help.
Just want to get everything right before starting to order the whole deal.
Edit:
AMP and AVR will be withing a Foot of each other on a A/V Rack.
Speakers from AMP will be withing 10ft.

You have got it all figured out perfectly! Pick which ever guage speaker wire that you like. LSI's will take bare, spades or bananas. I prefer bananas for ease of use.
I use the 1505F's for my IC's. Well made cable that doesn't cost an arm & leg and goes off & on like a dream!Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -
RCA for source to pre-amp (x2 for right and left channel). (or if digital connection - optical or coax (just one since all channels are carried over the same wire).)
RCA (or perhaps balanced if amp AND preamp support it) for each channel that the amp is going to amplify.
Speaker wire from the amp to the speakers. I would recommend bare or bannana plugs. The terminals on the LSi's are really wide and many spade connections do not fit it. It will take 10 or 12 guage bare wire with no problem. I have the 10-white cable from blue jeans cable. It works well, but if you need to do any cable routing (under baseboard, around fixtures, etc.) it is really thick and not very flexable. If you have any routing to do, I would get 12 guage and not worry about it. If it is going to run along the floor to your speakers and just sit there - the 10 guage is nice and you never have to worry about it again. (until you need a longer cable....)
I use banana's cuz they are easy. I purchased the wire bare and added them later though.
