    Mr. Mattison nailed it. This guy has 60 something posts here. Didn't bother to read anybody elses while he was here. He thinks that this forum is kind of like the other forum, but it isn't is it? This forum long ago evolved into a real purity of sound forum, not a, "Dude, I got a wall of sound" (bad sound at that) forum. There's nothing wrong with wanting your rig to do whatever it is you want it to do, but man, the first rule of showbiz is to KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. We didn't bow and scrape at the stuff he mentioned or his end goal. Too freakin' bad. Now if he keeps this **** up.....I'm not going to be his friend anymore.

    I am laughing out loud as I read this post. In my short time here, George (aka Gorge) and shack have come up with some of the best one liners.     I'm a little baffled on this one. When someone uses 2 consecutive numbers in a screen name, it typically represents the year they were born or possibly graduated.

    If this theory holds, this guy is 8 years my senior (40+) with an attitude that most teenagers would avoid. Nice.

    you dont have to worry i'm not going anywhere I was a truck driver most my life. and as far as me spellin george wrong why spell it right? you **** cant read anyway! if you could some body would have told **** fer brains that a marantz 2275 was a two channel rig!!! but nobody told him nothin, cause you dumb ****'s,did'nt have a clue wether it was or it not!! show me one place where I said I had a four channel setup, numb nut's!

    I bought all this stuff and it's comming " I dont have it yet" I am pumped, and was looking for a little support but these dumb dick's come in and jack my thread just to be **** and they did it!! I never could afford this kind of stuff till now and bash it just to be **** hole's i bet these are the same **** that in school they only **** with people they knew they could get over on pusssy'sss

    I just read this complete thread and my humble opinion is that what you should be purchasing is DJ speakers, and I mean that sincerely. They will play best in the biggest rooms at the highest levels. Which DJ speakers are best I can't help you with but I'm sure someone here has experience with them. Have you considered this route?

    Again troy I may be stupid about audio but I built a 9 seccar from the ground up, can you say that? I also turbocharged my suzuki hayabusa myself can you do that much less have the ball's to ride a 300 hp 200mph motorcycle I bet not! so step young'un!!

    Sell all your stuff to someone who'll put it to good use, buy a pair of Cerwin-Vega D-9's (two pair, stack them "just like onstage"), drive them with your incoming Marantz. There's all the advice you'll ever need with the goal you previously stated. It will sound absolutely terrible, but it WILL rock.
