Bought a new tv for the bedroom this weekend and when I tried to install a wall mount kit I hit a snag. The threads on the back of the set were made of nylon or plastic and stripped out! I'm following up with Samsung, but has anyone else run into this? I always have the option to return the tv, but it is one of the top rated models. Customer service has scheduled a tech visit to determine what can be done. The guy said the model he used for reference had metal threads. I wonder if it is a factory hiccup and if so what they will do about it.

FYI - Returned the Samsung and bought a Sharp Aquos. Never heard from anyone to schedule the appointment. Sharp definately has metal wall mount threads.
