I had a humm coming out of my sub so my buddy pulled it all apart and really messed things up ...to make a long story short, I need to replace the amp plate.
It is model #psw202...does anyone know where I might find this piece?

    Nice name
Do a search on ebay for polk, and you can find your amp for about $90 buy it now.

    Enjoy

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I bought the sub as a floor item at Best Buys for $125.00 I hate to spend another $90.00 to replace it.
There is a guy selling some plate amps on Ebay that are a little larger. I could buy one of them for $30 or $40 and then cut the hole an inch larger.
I'm trying to maintain my system without spending more $$.
I have a Bose sub working with the system, but this Sub adds a nice kick.
    I'll keep looking

I have the same sub. About 3 months after I bought it , it started doing the same thing. I bought it at Circuit City, so I took back and they sent it to their repair center. They are an authorized Polk service center, so warrenty covered it.
That was about 4 years ago, and now it is doing the same thing , again. Last time it was the amp that was bad and they replaced it. So you can bet you have the same problem. I think I will replace the whole sub this time. Only a 3 year warrenty on the amp.
