Okay, so Phil and the boys got me interested in the Marigo mat (there I gave credit to the originator:) ) Being Canadian and all, after exchange, taxes, and border crossing BS etc. it would be well over $300 for me. So I decided to give this one a shot.

I will give my conclusion after all the indepth scientific analysis of the results:D

Looks interesting Mike. Let me know how you like it. I'll be interested in your findings. If you don't like it & you are still interested in the Marigo mat we could work something out. It would cost next to nothing for me to ship you one from here. Boy, aren't these tweaks fun!!! Yeah, how do you like Joe (hearingimpaired) trying to take the credit on this one. Boy, the nerve!!

You should give this a try:

    Finalize CDs

Maybe someone with deep pockets could get a Nespa unit and do a comparison for us.

These CD mats are rediculously priced. Just ask George Grand what he paid for his way back when!

How far back are we talking about? Today's better technology changes things real quick. If it's that old, that would be like comparing 8 tracks to today's CD's. Not a very fair comparison.

Okay, so I have spent a little time with the above cd mat and my thoughts are as follows:

I can't say I really notice anything. Whether it is due to equipment or my smallish room etc., there would be no way I could tell if it is on or off in any kind of blind study. Thems my scientific interpretation of the data:D ....or lack thereof.

    That's all,

    No Joe.

It was the statmat blue that I provided the link in my initial post. I can't really say it whether it works or not but I don't think I really notice a difference. Others may have different results.

    Thanks,

Whewww !!!! I thought you were talking about the Marigo Mike. I was going to tell you that you got a defective one. Even my wife hears a big difference with the Marigo. Every now and then I won't put it on when we are going to sit down listen to music together and when the music starts she always asks me if I didn't put the green thing on.

Wow, that is impressive. I have no choice now but to acquire one. I think that I have some amps to save for first though......dammit!

I think it is great that your wife sits down and listens to music with you.....you are very lucky.

That's because Joe's only got 2 chairs in the whole house. Phyllisann doesn't have much choice in where she sits. LOL!!!!! Yeah Mike the Marigo cd mat is the real deal. My wife noticed a difference right away also. Give one a try.
