I just got my Monster Cable 3250 & 2250 amps today. I thought I was running my RT2000i's and other speakers through what I thought was a fairly power receiver (DENON 3805). After I hooked up an amp to these and of coarse to the other speakers. I was in total shock. I couldn't be happier. Almost more power than I'll ever use or at least until I move to a bigger room. I know basically nothing about home audio but I can say with no reserve that external amp power is the way to go. All my speakers sound better than they ever did. So amp'm if the funds are available.

Wow bassaholic, you spent a LOT of money on those amps!

I'm using my Denon AVR-4800 (THX Ultra blah blah blah); it's a 5ch receiver and I'm at 7ch now. So, I'm waiting on a Behringer A500 that's on backorder from Parts Express. However, I'm not expecting much improvement since the wattage will be about the same between both amps. And, if you go by weight then both amps weigh about 10lbs per channel. :p

Wow, I almost forgot about this thread, and I see I didn't mention what I'm using either.:p

On the RT3000p, I drive them with a Denon PMA-2000 IVR integrated amp

and I run the RT2000i pair with a NADC325BEE integrated amp
