What parts are you asking about and why do they need to be more powerful? You need to ask specific questions, we are not mind readers.

Any parts that Polk has would be the same parts that are in them now. If you don't like them, find another speaker you do like.

Ah dude, in any given speaker you'll find some combination of the following, driver(s), tweeter(s), perhaps a woofer(s) and then you have a crossover. On the crossover you'll find capacitors, resistors and inductors. With that in mind, none of the following, driver(s), tweeter(s) or woofer(s) come in an more powerful version. That is unless you change the parameters of the crossover to accommodate the different specs of the different driver(s)/tweeter(s)/woofer(s), but that doesn't mean the new parts are more powerful, just different. Again, you can change the crossover parts to higher grade parts, even change the values, but that doesn't make them more powerful, just different. So again, exactly WTF are you talking about?

What the hell does "More powerful" mean? I have some speakers that might fit your bill: They take 1500 watts rms, 2300 watts at peak.

If you want them, you can find me in most parking lots driving a white van.
Lovin that music year after year.

The limiting factor here is going to be your electronics, the parameters of the speakers won't make a difference.

Thought I'd pass along a comment from a certain someone concerning your question because, well, I found it humorous, to say the least.

"Feed them DC. I've heard that'll make 'em stronger."

It would be interesting, I guarantee you that......LOL

Damn skippy. That DC current is a SERIOUS strength training program for your speakers. ;)

The original request was given good answers........however, your original question was too vague and, honestly, a little silly. Had you been able to expound a little more on just what it was you are trying to accomplish, MAYBE you would have gotten a response more to your satisfaction. However, bear in mind, your speakers, like many things are designed pretty damn well in the first place and to just haphazardly start replacing things is a fools' enterprise.

However, if it floats your boat...hit up Parts Express for some bad **** drivers and Frankenstein 'em up good.

That said, I'm going out on a limb a thinking that you are running these speakers on a receiver of some sort. If that's true, the original components will handle all that it can deliver and then some (so my comment about your gear being the limiting factor AIN'T so dumb). IF your goal is to lower the FR of the satellite, ok, but WHY? You are running a sub/sat system. The system is crossed over to a sub ANYWAY so it sorta defeats the purpose of running full range satellites.

    Good luck, chucklehead.

That's just the thing, isn't it. We gave you good advice based on what you gave us to work with. Obviously, it's fallen on deaf ears. Good luck to ya.

    I've got 2 pairs!
I've heard Rm3000 speakers side by side with ls90 floorstanders and found it hard to say which sounded better, how powerful can you get?
It will be a long time before I get rid of my 3000s which I use for surround duty as well as computer speakers for which they happen to be most fantastic!
