Upgrade from RT600i

I have been using RT600is as main speakers in my home theater setup, along with a PSW250 subwoofer, CS400i center and f/x300i surrounds, all powered by a Yamaha 100wpc receiver. Sounds seems a little thin on audio CDs with sound fields turned off. Would upgrading to Monitor 70s make any sense, in terms of deeper musical reproduction? Would there be enough of a difference to warrant the cost? Thanks, Larry

or go with RT1000i's.. that would be a powered sub in each tower...
