I've got the CD version, so I know how good the content is (it's fabulous)...but the MFSL vinyl?

It kinda makes you want to not listen to anything that isn't MFSL. They vinyl is THAT good. When the lead in grooves are dead (I mean DEAD) silent, you know you are in for something good. I literally had to check to make sure the phono stage was on.

Well worth the coin for the vinyl enthusiast.

This CD is always on my top 10; first encounter with this type of music for me, and I like everything about it; vocals, presentation, dynamics, clarity on instruments......

Without the intention of hijacking....any other recommendations on this or other genre for a CD that is so good/complete in quality and content?

Sure, anything by AK is good. I've got a few of her discs and they are all good.

There is a LOT of good bluegrass material out there, just kinda look around. Most of it is very well recorded as well.

    I agree with that.

I've been enjoying listening to The Seldom Scene here lately. I've just recently been introduced to them. A bluegrass/gospel group.

Yeah, I also picked up New Favorite and it's as good; I'll look around and see what can I find on Pandora :)
