Sound quality with speaker level inputs

Due to a job change that requires a longer commute and acceding to my family's wishes I traded my truck for a used (but new to me) Honda Pilot. Of course, I took all my beloved audio gear out of my truck before signing it over to its new owners. So I have everything I need but the question now is should I keep the stock OEM gear and utilize the speaker level inputs on my amp to drive my front sound stage (SR6500)? Normally I would never consider doing such a thing but the stock system does come with an in dash changer and steering wheel controls. So does anyone have any experience with speaker level inputs and can you comment on the SQ with such a set up? Needless to say I can always wire it up and try it out but I would like to get others opinions as I tend to get emotional at times when it comes to vehicles and audio gear.
Thanks
Kevin
Thanks

It can work especially if you have an processor like a JL Audio Clean Sweep http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansweep_pages.php?page_id=94 or something from Audiocontrol http://www.mobileaudiocontrol.com/dept.asp?d_id=17612&l1=17612.
Using one of these, its doubtful youd have any induced noise however you will still probably have hiss. You can compensate for this by dropping your gains to the floor but youll have a lot less output.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
