    Thanks Demi:) :D

I was really preparing myself to eat some crow here on the forum during the third quarter. The game started to take on a Rutger's vibe. I loved it how Brohm responded when asked if he would be coming back next year. Our receiving core is unbelievable, as is our backfield -- and they will all be returning. So will most of that offensive line.

I really thought it would be a blowout during the first quarter. The Louisville defense was running over the Demon Deacons. But much credit to WF for making the necessary adjustments and hanging with a much bigger squad. Their time will come.

Did I mention that the Big East is 4-0 in bowl games?!?!?:):D

btw I thought of you when Wade made a pregame appearance escorting Ali. Hard not to like DW.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

What was DW there for anyways?

    haha -- I guess it's hard to figure he's a 'star' now.

Anyhow, good game, although I don't think you'd need to eat any crow here. I don't think there are any Wake fans about.

Now, just watch out for Wisconsin Badger basketball. They could take it all this year.

I'm guessing Wade was there as a representative of Miami. Fuggedabout Wisconsin hoops -- their football team played gloriously this year. How much of their squad is returning for the next campaign?

Looks like the Cards just got fitted for bullseye jerseys. It might be safe to say their program is among the best now. The upcoming season will be the first one where anything less than a national championship will be a disappointment. No more settling for the Top 25. No more victory cigars for cracking the Top 10. No more mid-major bowl game celebrations. No more parades for one-loss seasons. No more BCS game victory Polk Audio threads.

All those steps have been covered. It's time for the National Championship.

As long as Alabama keeps their grubby little hands off of Petrino....

No, no -- don't forget about Wisconsin hoops. I loves me some basketball!

Anyhow, they had a crapload of freshman starters on their football team, but their 2 big losses are Joe Thomas, who may go #1 in the draft as an O.L. and then Jim Sorgi is gone.

Other than that? Should be solid, P.J. Hill wil be back at RB, although he had a fantastic year and was up for the H. Trophy he had a **** game against Arkansas.

BIG bball game against Ohio State next week. It will be a big two day for Buckeye fans like myself. Hopefully we're celebrating our national championship and then watching OSU vs Wisconsin bball on the 9th.

ZB, there is NO WAY your cards can make it through USC next year. Not sure how many of my buckeyes will return for next year (to defend their title :) ). Looks like Ginn, Pittman, and Gonzo will all likely leave early. :(

recommend you go to this site a half hour before the game, and get psyched up for the game:

You've got to give it to 'em Troy... they haven't taken a step back since '97. The only way forward is either a title game appearance or National Champions. 10 years of improvement year-in, year-out is hard to ignore. Tack on 10 more years of Schellemberger lifting them from the ashes of near extinction, and you start to believe anything is possible.

I most certainly believe there is a chance because twenty years of building this program in the right direction has proven to me otherwise:)
