Question about digital cable...

If you get digital cable service, what happens to the other analog televisions you have connected throughout the house? Will they need a special converter to work now?

You will still get all the analog stations without the box.You just need the box for basic and the movie channels,pay per view.You also won't get any digital or HD channels without the box.

With my cable service, Cox, all channels above 100 are digital and those below 100 are analog. Therefore if you wish to watch channels above 100 on any set, you would need a cablebox (or cablecard if your TV accepts one) to access them.

I think here in Tucson after VOIP is in place, Comcast is going to go all digital.

I used to have that problem with DirectTV. I have Dish Network now and I don't have that problem any more.
