Depending on your reciever, you should have some sort of on-screen setup function. Withing this, you will be able to adjust and test the volume levels of each individual speaker/channel. This function should send a test tone to the speaker that you believe is blown, which should indicate immediately if the speaker is blown, or if there are other issues within your system (wiring, reciever, settings, etc.)Poulanium

i can set each speaker level -10 to +10
when all other speakers are set to 0 they sound fine...when it comes to the troubled speaker there is nothing...no sound...so i set that particular speaker to +10 and i start to hear something but no where near what it should be...
let me ask you this..if the speaker is blown should it be silent or should i still hear something!!
PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!! I SENT THE SPEAKER TO POLK TO GET REPAIRED!!!!!
