All this Kraken talk and lo and behold, scientists stumble across this specimen.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Yes, apparently it didn't take well to being captured, since it died.

Garnished with parsley, and sprinkled lightly with parmesan cheese. Maybe a little tzatziki or Marinara sauce to dip it in, and a slice or 2 of lemon... (I can taste it now!)

Didn't look that big to me either. I've seen them about that size, maybe even larger in some recent documentaries.

If the small giant squids can get as long as 60+ feet, how large do the giant giant squids get ?

1000's of feet long, I bet. With FANGS !!

Luckily, it looks like someone on the Net is doing something about this danger.

I think this guy is an MIT graduate student, who developed this software simulation using a series of Cray Supercomputers.
