Plate Amps

I'm sure this has been covered a zillion times, I appologize for the repeat question.
I just bought a SVS 12.1 puls driver, my incloser is 3.7 cuft downfiring with a 3" port 11" long. My room is approx 1,000cuft. My sub is located in the fron t corner of the living room.
3 plate amps are in question to drive the SVS. 300s BASH from PE. A 240watt Dayton, also from PE. And a Polk 225watt Eosone amp from Ebay. I have had great experience with Dayton and Polk products (drivers, parts), but no experience with Dayton, BASH or Polk plate amps. I do know that with the Dayton and the BASH, you can custom bass boost and custom subsonic filter.
Which amp would be best for my configuration? I did speak to Tom, over at SVS, but he has no experience with these plate amps. He did assure me that anything between 200 and 300 watts, would be plenty. So I have narrowed it down to these.
Any opinions?
Jake

I'm no expert on this, but I just added a 240 w Dayton plate amp to an old, unpowered 10" Visonik sub. The result is quite pleasing. I don't know if you would find any obvious differences among the amps you mentioned. All should have enough power to do the job.

Thanks Jim. I'm just not familliar with plate amps compared to 2 channel amps. But alot of ppl recommend , when going sub, to go plate amp. And with my $100-$150 budget, I just want to make sure I'm not underpowering the 12.1 svs.

From what I understand, the guys @ SVS said yes it is a BASH amp, but modified to the gills. So I dont know if the BASH @ PE is a good comparison. But I am leaning toword that (BASH 300s) are the Dayton 240.
