played it in single player campaign. just didn't feel good sending my cohorts in for the kill. i like killing on my own, mostly. i'll have to give rainbow six a shot on LIVE. all games are totally different (and usually better) beasts when playing online.

and lou, again, xbox live constantly updates and upgrades the 360 as well as the hd dvd drive than you can purchase separately. i think the 'washed-out' colors via vga may have already been corrected. i don't use vga so i don't follow those concerns. LIVE is terrific. it's worth the extra money and makes ps3 online gaming less attractive.

Do what I did -- send your team to the corner and go in on your own. That's what I did through the entire game. Oddly enough it's easier that way except when you need to rescue hostages.

dude, I'm loving gears of war so far. will be going online, most likly wireless from my bassment to my wireless router on the first floor. will any wireless usb card work, or do I have to get the xbox one? I assume I have to get the xbox one.

vga cable looks great to me, no washed out colors I can see.

i connect wirelessly with this... http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-WGA11B-Wireless-B-Game-Adapter/dp/B0000AJVBW ... but i got it from ebay for like $36 total. works flawlessly. they have wireless g adapters for faster connections. 54 mb/s vs 11 mb/s, but i see no need. internet is only 3 mb/s and i can stream video no prob from my computer to 360.
