Anyone have any experience with them? I've been looking at their R series. From what I've read they are quite good. Just looking for some feedback from any REL owners.

I had a borrowed REL Strata III for a couple of weeks. I was looking for a sub to go with my Magnepan 1.6's. Very musical, tight bass, and easy to integrate into the system. I also was able to borrow a Martin Logan Grotto, and the REL was far better IMHO. I wound up going with the new SVS SB-12 which is better than the ML Grotto, and gets you most of the way to the REL Strata performance at half the price. From my limited time with the REL Strata I would love to hear some of their other models. The Strata was really, really nice!

I have a REL Storm III. On Audio, it is better than a Velodyne DD series. Its ability to blend in with your front speakers is undisputable. It complements any speakers and blend in as if it is part of the main.

I really like mine, has it for the past 4 years.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Depends price range, the new JLAUdio 110 is pretty surprising, very much a ht sub, with musical aspirations. Also the ML Descent is extremely musical, (tho I did like the grotto) or now Descenti. Guessing pricing is a huge consideration. I did have a client that went the way of REL over JL 113 just on pricing. he didn't like velodyne at all......

I have an older REL Strata I. Very smooth & seamless interface with 2CH. The SVS I have is used for HT. The REL, IMO, has the ability to totally disappear into the speakers, which works great.
