If you've had problems with your box and you've been out of the warranty period, they've universally extended it for one-year including retroactive repairs.

I guess that's good 'cause M$ is finally standing behind their product. Bad news, 'cause I guess they've had so many problems that they have to take such a big step to retain customer good will.
