So as luck would have it.. I meet a very cool guitar maker.
I was selling a older Toshiba DVD player on Craigslist.. and this guy says he wants it.. so cool. He comes over and checks it out, and says he'll take it.. cool, that's some extra holiday money in my pocket.
Then he begins to rattle off that he built the first custom guitars for the likes of Van Halen and the Rolling Stones. Yeah right buddy.. did you just escape from the local looney bin or what???
He gave me his name and i searched the net to find out he owns Boogie Body Guitars and he has indeed built custom guitars for several musicians over the years.
He may not exactly have influnced the guitar industry with the likes of Les Paul or many others.. but I thought wow.. how cool was that in my own home? He was in a hurry.. but i hope to keep in contact with him.. he said he could get me back stage to nearly every concert that comes to town.
here are a few links if interested in Lynn Ellsworth
