Am I the only one who thinks those guys are too old to really enjoy all of that gear? Just can't imagine them maxin' the volume and rockin' out on those systems. Classical is OK, but sometimes ya gotta rock, dude!

Classical don't rock?? Au contraire mon frere.

Pick up Mahler's 5th and tell me THAT doesn't rock.

Then, pick up the 1812 Overature on Telarc....

Your never too old to rock!

They do what they do for the same reason that we do/would if we had the means. Because you don't hear....you feel.

Were those a pair of Usher D2 horns in there?

I've linked Jean-Yves Kerbrat's system before on here, but it has been quite awhile ago. His system is the pinnacle the ACA boys...........although the whole club has a large number of nice systems with just a few $$$ invested.

Eh, whatever man. A real symphony doesn't need amplification to blow you away.

    Hi all,

Thanks very much for your comments about the documentary. :p

Here is another link @ http://aca.gr/event06-3.htm to a page that explains everything about the film's genesis, links to the systems presented in the film etc, etc...

The film itself is also embedded at the bottom of the web-page! :)

Hello skaloumbakas. Are you one in the first row of thumbnails? Who made your turntable? What is some of the other equipment in your system? Amplifiers? Speakers?

Hello fellow freak!!!:p I enjoyed the whole film. It was well produced. Some of you fellows are about the same age as several of us at Club Polk and we understand a little more of where you are coming from....that is saying that the newer, whether younger or just starting out, are more into home theatre than 2-channel. Let's just say that there are several, here, that are on that same wavelength as you guys.:)

WOW! I just spent an hour reviewing a small part of the A.C.A web site. It's absolutely world class. The monthly newsletter alone rivals about any audio site I've visited. Marvelous work, Christos!
