When I bought my Adcom 7807 I lost one ch that I used for another center ch. spk. Can I hook-up 2 spks from one ch. which would be a 4 ohm load? my amp can handel 4-8 ohms. How would I do this, jump of one spk to the other connecting neg to pos & pos to neg to create a series? thanks

Series would bring it up to 16 ohms and be pretty hard on your adcom. You'd need to go parallel where you'd either run two sets of cable from your adcom or one to the first center and then the second set from the first center (positive going to positive and vice versa). That should bring it to four ohms but keep an eye on the adcom if you're pushing them hard. Watch to see if it's getting a lot hotter than usual or sounds like it's struggling.
Is it really much of an improvement having two centers running? I guess if you stacked them it wouldn't be too shabby. -
Thanks, I have them side by side.My HT set-up Panasonic front proj, 120 in ws screen, ATI amp,Integra 9.8 pre-pro, 2 Polk rti150, cp 1000, 4 fx 1000, Pioneer blu-ray 2 SVS sub pb 12-ultra 2, & Paragon popcorn popper. ps 3 Coaster leather HT recliners.

I have dual center channels side by side, as well. IMO, it sounds better than a single center channel. Duals offer a fuller sound.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
