Is it OK to locate a sub on top of an entertainment center? It is a pretty substantial piece of furniture in terms of weight.

I guess you could do that. Must be a modest size sub if you can put it up there. On a larger sub I would suggest keeping it on the floor to get maximum coupling to the room. But as long as the vibrations don't cause a problem w/ anything on the shelves, why not?

    Cheers, Jim

    It's a PSW202, so not very large.

i would get a bigger sub,
then it would not be an issue,(keep it on floor)
I thought it was fairly amusing also. The Polk Ogre doesn't always get 'it'

Sub is plenty for the small room it's in. Bigger isn't always better.;)

A quote often made by those with small subs... ;)

Edit - And while you can put a sub up there, I wouldn't just due to the vibration that may be passed on to the electronics or other breakables in your entertainment center.

Ohhhhh, I see. OK I admit a case of sub-envy. Perhaps there's a pill to compensate (as long as it doesn't last more than 4 hours).

As with the use of any sub. Please make sure no children are present during operation.
