Two center channel spks

With my new amp I have 7 ch ,could I use 2 spk on one channel & making the impedence to 4 ohms the amp can handel 4-8 ohm spks, I guess I want to would it hurt anything with all the other spks at 8 ohm & the centers at 4 ohms. thanks

I think it would depend on the center channel speakers you plan to use, their impedance, and how they are set up. Others can chime in on the exact series or parallel wiring you need to use to get two 4 or 8 ohm speakers to appear as the right impedance for your amp.
I run dual CSi40's for my front center, and I just use a high quality splitter (Outlaw audio) to split my center pre-out into separate amps (or channels of a multi-channel amp) to power the two center channel speakers.DKG999

Thanks thats what I did with my ATI amps, I had 10 ch with both. Now I only have 7ch.
