    Anyone have any thoughts on this particular model? This guy lives right up the road from me and I have some Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket!

    I'd want to use this in my main rig with the 2.3tl's - mainly for HT but it will see some 2 channel use as well.

    It's an SPL monster for HT...perfect for large rooms. SVS hold their resale (as shown) so it's not a bad deal. Whether you'll want to use it for some additional 2 channel kick will probably depend on the content. I run with and without the sub. Blending shouldn't be a problem if you cut them low. SVS subs aren't boomy, but extremely visceral. There is just no comparison to your current sub.
