Door Panel Rattle

I have a '98 GMC Jimmy in which I've recently replaced the factory door speakers with Infinity CS6012s. They sound great, but on anything with a decent bass track I have a rattle in the driver's door. I've located the rattle as the door panel itself, but I'm dumbfounded on how to stop a rattle in a plastic door panel. I am familiar with Dynamat, but will the additional mass stop the rattle from plastic? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

theres is a foam tape called "mounting tape" its double stick milimeter thick foam. if you put it everywhere the door meets the body it should fix it. the local craft store or walmart should have it for 2 dollars.

Go to Lowes and look for anti fatiguing foam mat. Its in the flooring section and its gray. Its a pretty thick and sturdy material and its relatively cheap.

Measure your doors and buy enough to do them both. Shouldnt be more than $20. Then cut them out to fit inside your door panels and that should take care of a lot of your rattles.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to try the foam mat when I get a chance. I guess I'll go ahead and Dynamat the door as well so a future sub won't create new rattles.

Thats always a good idea as well.

Ive got quite a bit of Dynamat on my door skin, inside and outside door panel plus a layer of foam.

And I still take off the power window control panels off and stuff foam down between and make sure its wedged in good. You can never have too much daming.
