Our first time in Mexico. We wanted to avoid the younger "all I want to do is get and stay drunk crowd" So we decided to book this 5*+.
The deal is my wife got to choose the vacation and I get to buy my two other monos when we come back! fair trade if you ask me Win win!

BTW I have been away from the forums, due to my new job and I am recovering from what was a bad flu/turned into bronchitis and just found out that pneumonia is in effect !:mad: as long as I get rid of it before the trip mid Jan!

Glad you are on the recovery Willow. I have been to Mexico twice, but not that area. I am sure you and your wife will have a good time. Look nice and yes being away from THAT crowd will surely improve the trip. Enjoy.

We traveled to Cancun last summer and spent a week at the Moon Palace Resort.

One of the most relaxing places we have ever been,I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Just one word of advise that you have heard before...don't eat or drink anything outside of your resort...everything there will be Premo.

Well,maybe a few bottled beers by the ocean would be O.K. Have fun

We wanted to stay away from Cancun it's self as well. Landing there but we are 90 mins away.

When we were in DR this year me stayed at Sunscape a sister hotel of dreams. We heard lots of good things about dreams. sunscape was a 4-5* this is one up +. Be interesting for sure. I'll be taking lots of picks for sure.
