Hey guys,

Looking to buy these micro's after my fascination started growing about them. They seem to be solidly built good sounding little beasts and I must confess I like the idea of a PR on them.

Anyone have a pair covered in a layer of dust somewhere that they wouldn't mind getting rid of?

    I have a mint pair of Mon 5's...not Jr's if you're interested.

    22x10x9 and they have LSi binding posts installed.

    If I could say 10/10 I would but technically can't so 9/10. An 8/10 pair recently sold for $150...so I'm thinking $140 would be a cool price.

    I forgot that I upgraded the tweeters to the new soft dome, so if you want them +80.

    Scratch that....for the moment I only have one spare SL2000 so it's new tweeters or nothing, sorry. I recently sold one of my SL2000 spares, just slipped my mind. I'll check on some on my other Polk's and see if I've replaced them or not.

    In regards to the price, no...it's solid as I'm not stressed to sell them at all, they're mint. It's a great speaker and often overlooked because of the MON7.

    I don't ship speakers if at all possible and I'm very familiar with NOVA. I'm sure we could work something out easily and it would be silly to do anything but a hand to hand transaction in this case.

    Stew - They were sold to MillerLiteScott and he seems pretty attached to them :) I appreciate the interest. Are you looking for a similar speaker or just a pair of Polk's? I have some R1's laying around. I wouldn't call them MON5 level but they aren't too shabby.

    Doro - I'd really like to find a pair of SL2000 5b's to use on a bookshelf. I had a pair years ago and wish I still had them. I also have a pair of RD0194-1's that need a home.
