Speaker Baffles?

hey new to the forum but have at polks for a while now....just picked up DB525 of crutchfield on a serious deal....i bought a pair of speaker baffles just to experiment with becuase iev never used them before....what will they do for me? and i have a extended cab ranger would they be best in the back or front??? thanksss
