Is the Polk R15 and M10 the same speaker?
Hi everyone I'm new here and have a question.
Yesterday I finally managed to get the wife to A-B some speakers. The sales person managed to get the Polk HTIB & M10 +Sub to work and we really liked the M10s. I was trying for the R15 because of the occasional specials at Frys.
So Im here at the Polk site and it looks like the R15 & M10 might be the same speaker except for minor cosmetics. If you look at the PDF docs on the site for these 2 speakers, one lists a 3.0 khz crossover, the other a 3.2. One is also .4 pounds heavier, but it's not clear if they just rounded to the next highest number. Even then the specs sure look close, down to power handling, freq response, etc.
Can anyone confirm?

The M (from circuit city) is essentially the R series based on other discussions. No definitive answer from Polk that I have seen. The R150s are $50 a pair at Fry's. They replaced the R15s. Not sure why Frys wants almost $100 for a pair of the 15s
