FS Carver Silver Amazings in Piano Black

My buddy Harry has a nice set of Silver Amazings that have just been completely refinished in their original Piano Black and look very nice. All drivers and ribbons are in great shape, as are the xovers. He will also throw in a complete set of new surrounds and glue for the (6) 12" drivers for future use...no need for them at this monent. Pics will follow in the next day or so, as he lives in Indy and I'm not venturing that way for a few days.

Harry is a standup guy and has great EBAY feedback under hbailey1hi-fi.
Though, local pickup is preferred, delivery for nominal fee can be arranged within a reasonable distance.

Price is $950 obo.

Also, I have heard these and they sounded great and would have taken them home, but at the time I had the AL IIIs and these had minor corner damage, which is repaired(RIGHT) now and have a great finish. I'd likely take them now, but I prefer the oak finish over the black....that's just my opinion.

    I'm with you in the oak finish....your AL-III's look gorgeous...err....my AL-III's :)

    If these were oak I'd be selling the III's right now...someday I'll find a good pair of oak finish silvers or platinum.....

    Damn it!!! I wish I had the money to try these out. If your friend is unable to sell these and has them a few months from now, they are mine!!! I can't wait to try out a good planar speaker to see what they can do. Until then, back to the SDA's!

    Interesting, denying the pleasure of hearing daily great sound from a classic speaker based on a finish preference, I much prefer the black though.

    These are no doubt man speakers.
