Looking for a pretty cheap EQ to equalize the bedroom speakers I'm building. Would like it to have at least 10 bands.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Lemme look, I'll get back to you.

If Anthony doesn't have anything in his bag, look for an ADC Sound Shaper, or maybe a BSR with spectrum analyzer. The Radio Shack 10 band from the 80's can be had for not a lot (black, with LED spec analyzer), and is decent also.
Far from the last resort, email George Grand, he might have an ADC in his stash somewhere. Tell him I sent you, and you think bottle rockets are in the top-5 things man has invented.

Maz,
The one I have seems to have developed some kind of issues. I don't think you will want it, unless you want to fix it. -
Anthony, what's it doing bad? It might be fixable.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

This one is free just pay shipping.
Figure on around 12 lbs packed NOT to withstand a thermal nuclear detonation from 73505. Scratches, crud, and dust included.
I have no idea if it works or not, picked it up on one of my scavenger hunts.
Power on button looks like it is suppose to illuminate.....but it does not.

I have two of them and they are spectacular. I'd give one up but I have one on one of my rigs and the other is on my brother's stereo.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

a terrible hum om one of the channels. I man an AMPLIFIED hum. I heard it for less thana second and unplugged that beyotch. Good thing it didn't do any damage, I'd be sending you litlle pieces... -
I have a BSR 3000 I don't use any more that I'd sell.
Got its big brother, the 4000. -
John, how much for the BSR?
I'm also bidding on the Audiosource on Ebay so if I get that one cheap I'll be good.
gwh, is there any way you can test the guy out before I drop some cash on shipping? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks guys! -
I am using a 15 band per channel Eq I picked up from Radio Shack for $75 that works quite well. I think that may have been a mark down on a floor demo unit.
-
Sorry for not getting back to you. Still looking for an eq? I'll dig out the 3000 and have a look if you are.
-
Sure am. How much would you want for it shipped to 43026?
-
I must have 4 or 5 eq's inside. Realistic, Coustic, AudioControl, Onkyo, Soundcraftsmen. See anything you like?
-
George,
As long as they have at least 10 bands I'll take whatever works and is the cheapest. This is for the bedroom and the speakers are only going to cost me about $50 to make (line arrays with 20 4" drivers in each).
Thanks! -
The Realistic has 12 bands, and a defeatable Stereo Expander circuit (el cheapo SDA). That might be fun.
-
How much $$$ ?
-
I'm sure you will find something used for less, but if you don't, this unit actually works pretty well, has quite a few connectivity options, is not particularly noisey (for its price), has 15 bands per channel, and costs $70 new.

Hey Maz,
I have a Sony SEQ 430 that will cost exactly one pint of Guinness from Fado's at Easton where I will happily meet you for the exchange! It only has nine bands per channel, but the price is right.
Seriously, it is yours for the asking. Just let me know.

How about $45? I'll check it out if you're interested. But if you can find a deal locally you might do better. -
$25 + ship for mine but I figure you've already had a drink with Bert and rightly so!
