I clicked your pictures and examined them more closely. I don't think those are new speakers at all. I think they may be displays. If they were new they should be in much better shape. The baffles look pretty dinged up.

I don't know about that. The Lsi15's ports look like they MAY have the port dinged abit, but it's too small a picture to tell. The Lsic looks fine. More then likely he's just not use to the Lsi series.

Give it some time. You have 30 days to make up your mind.

We must be seeing different things then. I see alot of dings...I thought maybe it was the camera but I don't see the same things on other parts of the picture. Plus I don't think it is simple reflection because they look smudged and not polished.

Oh well I guess only the owner know for sure.

I'm not saying your wrong. It's just I think the pictures are too small to know for sure. I don't want to get donedroolin all worked up over a guess. He's a little uneasy right now as it is. I don't want to see the guy going into tweeter and getting mad at some poor guy and wind up being wrong.

The dinged up parts are most likely pic related more than anything. Piano Black with flash never goes over too well, no matter if it's just out of the box type of new...

Anyway, you have the blue drivers...
Nothing to worry about here... enjoy!

I think he would know better than us anyway. Afterall, they are in his living room.

Well SORRY guys after looking at the pictures more they look more blue. Still not as blue as the WEB page on polk. When I take the covers off the speakers in alot of light they look more silver gray. When I sent the pictures to Polk they said they did look alittle light but they are the correct drivers. They also told me it would take about 60 hours to start to get the drivers warn in enough to sound better. Well again sorry for being wrong and maybe alittle color blind. I will keep you up on how they sound.

Need to forward that break in comment to Joey.... :)

BTW - I was underwhelmed with my LSi7's when I first fired them up. Once the broke in, the sound was great. I am sure you will end up liking them - if not, the RTi12's are still there waiting for you...

Well I will definatly give these speakers a chsnce to break in. Tweeter gives you a year to trade up, so I will take advantage of that right. You guys have been a BIG help THANKS!!!!. And I have to agree with Midnite mick my speakers do look like crap in the pictures. But I can assure you they are not damaged in anyway and do not look like that when you see them in person. I had to look for myself after seeing the photos. They were pakaged up like new all original unopened owners manuals and packing looked like factory shipped. The LSi's with the piano black takes bad pictures. I tried again after wipeing them down with a damp cloth like it tells you in the owners manual and they still looked bad. So I wondering what do you guys clean your speakers with. We use Cinch spray cleaner on our granite counters and for the elctronics the dealer whom I got my controoler and amp recomended it, of course spraying on towel first then wiping. What do you guys think.

Well been playing these speakers for awhile. They are nice and sound pretty good. But the tweeters all sound like they make a like a vibrating noise when listenig to certain music or movies. They sound much different then the Rti tweeters. I Know they are a different design , just wondering if anyone else has this sound. Maybe they are still breaking in.

Looks like a pair of LSi15s and an LSiC to me. Mine certainly have deep blue cones.
