Anyone familiar with an RTE line by Polk? I have been looking at RT800 and RT800i, but have never come across an RTE. They look slightly different on the fronts, but look the same otherwise. Are they a similar model? Anyone know where I can find more info?

RTE isn't a valid line moniker from Polk that I am aware of. The RT800 and RT800i are very nice tower models from around 5-7 years past. Evolved into the RTi70 and then todays RTi8 models possess similar driver arrays.

If the RTE existed, I would guess that "E" stands for Euro.

Post a pic if you can. I wanna see what it looks like. Why do they make different speakers for the Euro market? Seems like a waste of money to me. But i'm sure it's not.

Thanks for the replies and info on the fact they are the Euro model. Any concerns about them being Euro, such as compatibility in power, etc?

    They are on ebay:

Any ideas on a decent price?

    Thanks!
