Okay guys/gals, new setup question for you all. I scored a couple month old SVS, PB12-ISD (w/new NSD driver) this past Friday for free. Well, beings I have dual PB12-Plus/2's downstairs, no real need for it in my room so I'm going to intergrate this sub upstairs with the Polk RM6005 satellites and replace the Polk PSW10 subwoofer. Here is my question, how would you fellow members setup the crossover on the Denon 3805? Would you keep everything set at 80Hz and disable the SVS's crossover or should I bump up the crossovers on the Denon to say somewhere around 150Hz? Could someone please tell me what would be the best way about setting up this combo. Thanks in advance.

Damum, a whole day and no replies. Everyone must be busy with the upcoming holidays and things. Everyone should be back at work today so maybe I'll get some suggestions today.Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!

With the small sats you'll want your crossover high. The small speakers can't produce much below 120-150hz. so the higher the better.Sony KDL-40V2500 HDTV, Rotel RSX-1067 Receiver, Sony BDP-S550 Blu-ray, Slim Devices Squeezebox, Polk RTi6, CSi3 & R15, DIY sub with Atlas 15

So, if I set the x-over in the Denon 3805 to say 150Hz for the fronts and rears do I also have to set the subwoofer x-over at the same in the 3805. Then on the SVS, do I disable the x-over or do I enable it at just set it at the maximum x-over setting?Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!

Dah, just thought about what I asked? If I set all the x-over in the 3805 to say 150Hz that means the satellites play everything above 150Hz and the sub handles everything below 150Hz, correct? Which would mean I disable the x-over on the sub, correct? Tell it's Monday.Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!
