Power wire question

Hey guys Im back to the install of my system. A car accident earlier in the year has kept me from finishing my project. Im back at it in the sweet cold weather. :(

I wanted to know what side to run my power wire. Since my battery is on the passenger side I would run my power wire on that side. My speaker wire and interconnects would go down the drivers side. My only concern was all the wiring and fuses on the drivers side causing interference/noise with the speaker wire and interconnects going right around it.

Should I worry about this or will I be ok?

My wiring is all KnuKonceptz. Krystal RCA, Karma 12g, Kolossus power/ground.

Ill be drilling tomorrow so any help would be appreciated.

thanks

As long as youre not running shielded RCA's it doesnt really matter where you run the wires.

I still like to run my power wires down the opposite side I run the signal wires down but you could run em side by side and still be ok.....as long as youre not using shielded cables. Those actually act as an antena and will pick up noise you normally wouldnt have.

    These are my RCA's http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KRY4.4M

    Speaker wire http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KAR12BLS

    Power wire http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL1/0BL

My main question is, will the speaker wire and RCA's pick up noise near the fuse box area?

    thanks

I am running the same wires you have. They are running side by side. I do not have any issues with noise.

1996blackmax- You run the power wire on the same side as your speaker wire/RCAs? I suppose if you arent getting noise from the power wire you wont get any from a fuse box?

Yes...my amps are installed under the front seats so I have power wires going on both sides of my car. I could have chosen to do something more elaborate with the wiring, but figured that since these are quality cables, noise should not be an issue.

I am actually running the Klear Speaker Kable, which is not the twisted pair as yours.

Sweet, lets hope I dont have any issues.

Just curious why you went with the Klear Kable?

Less bulky, and thought it would get the job done.
