Any recos for karaoke speakers?

Been having fun lately with karaoke in the basement after football games and for parties, using my daughter's all-in-one machine hooked up to my rig.

I don't want to use my Polks for karaoke (afraid something stupid will happen), so I've been moving other expendable speakers in for karaoke duty.

Unhooking the other speakers is kind of a pain, so I've been looking for inexpensive PA speakers. I tried a pair of 10" PA speakers from Radio Shack ($140/pr), but their piezo tweeters were horrible.

Any ideas on cheap, decent sounding, efficient, durable PA speakers for less than $150 new or used? I also think some used Cerwin Vegas could fit the bill.

Again, I'm obviously not expecting great sound quality, but something decent sounding and pretty bulletproof. I'll be using these set to small with my sub pulling bass duty, so hard-core bass capabilities aren't necessary.
