Up for grabs are these extremely handsome SDA-CRS which have been finished in walnut. The veneer and finish was done by our own resident Wood Ninja, Jesse, otherwise known as F1nut. These really must be seen in person to be appreciated, as they are gorgeous. Pictures just don't do 'em justice.
I actually want to keep these beauties, but I have enough. Time to let someone else get their SDA on.
They are the original CRS, with two tweeters and blade/blade interconnect. The SL2000 tweeters have been replaced with the new RD-0194 silk polymer domes. The binding posts have also been replaced with gold plated brass Vampire Wire posts. The tweeters and binding posts were replaced by our very own Dorokusai These have been de-oxidized and cleaned with Caig DeOxit, then treated with Caig Pro Gold. The mid drivers, SDA drivers, and passive radiator are all original and in impeccable shape. There has not been any work done on the crossovers that I know about.
I do not the stands, but I think a pair of these Sanus center stands would work nicely. Or you could use these Dayton high mass speaker stands
One of the cabinets has a scratch on the top. I have no idea how it got there, but it's there. I think it's an easy fix, but I believe in full disclosure. Other than that, they are damn near perfect.
I'd really like to hand these to someone. I will ship them if you want, But you'll have to cover it. It will be in two boxes at least around 40 lbs each from 08085.
The price is $old to the guy wit the hearing impediment.
I have a few pictures for you.

Because I am a scwey wabbit wuver . . . hu hu hu hu hu hu .
Seriously, I am a Warner Brothers / Three Stooges Aficionado wacko nut job that collected every WB and 3 Stgs episode ever made . . . I still have them and on occasion break them out. -
Ya know what's funny Michael, I can remember Bug Bunny dialog and episode names but I can't remember what version of SME tonearm I installed on my VPI TT a few years back!!! Pretty goofy huh!

Hahahaha, that's pretty good. I bet I'd love to sit down and watch your collection. Bugs Bunny is good, and the three stooges is always funny. I have a three DVD set of them, I think, but that's it.George Grand wrote: »

Oh yeah, 98 if you count "Hold that Lion." This is the episode that Curly appears in a cameo (this is after his stroke and couldn't make shorts anymore) on that Shemp episode as a passenger on a train who is asleep with a hat over his face. Larry and Moe are looking for Icabod Slip who ripped them off. Moe grabs the hat off of Curly's face and he has a closepin on his nose, Moe removes the closepin and Curly starts snooring out loud and barks like a dog. This is the only time he ever appeared on a short with a full head of, you guessed it, CURLY hair. -
