I got sick of waiting, and these look like they're going to fit my budget, as well as my aesthetic and performance needs for a while. Went with the Aperion Audio 533 series in gloss black... I've only ordered the center channel so far, but the rest of the setup will come shortly thereafter. (Waiting for the 533 towers to come available)

Aperion sounds like a solid company, too. They give you 30-days Satisfaction Guarantee (they even pay shipping in case you change your mind!) 1-yr full purchase price credit in case you decide to upgrade/downgrade, 10-yr Warranty. They've also gotten some pretty good reviews on CNet, Audioholics, etc.
These, along with my gloss black DLP and black tempered glass TV stand should be a nice combination aesthetically. It's just a matter of deciding on a sub.

Thoughts?

I'm telling you WAIT UNTIL YOU CAN GET YOUR LSI ON

The man has the bug, new speaker smell is gnawing on ya.

I am partial to the Polk's. There are lots of speakers to choose from.

Aperion is a quality company, I reviewed two of their products so far, and I'm in the midst of a third. Dollar-wise they offer a lot, and sound better than plenty of big name speakers.

I tried the 632s out but ended up returning them. While they had some nice kick, there was something missing in the highs for me. I preferred the LSi 7s and 9s over the, but I have to say the finish of the aperion products CANT be beat at that price. It was hard to give up that beautiful piano black lacquer.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

Ultimately, my funds got depleted quicker than I expected. The cost of a separate amp just isn't in the cards right now. I'd be stuck at a 2-channel rig, when my primary use is HT. Hard to say when I'd have the funds to ever build up a full 5-channel LSi setup.

Hopefully someday down the road... maybe Polk will release a new line in the next couple years, and I can juggle the idea. Until then, I'll enjoy my warranty, the finish, and not be spending every last dime on my HT.
