NAD T743 vs NAD 7600
I'm looking at an auction for these 2, which of these 2 can effectively handle 5 polk audio speakers lci series with 4 omh load. I plan on using amp with at least 200wpc but don't know which. I plan to use sub psw505. Will this work? The nad 7600 auction states,"170 WATTS PER CHANNEL INTO 8 OHMS! IT CAN HANDLE ALMOST ANY LOADS DOWN TO 2 OHMS,WHERE IT CAN CREATE DYNAMIC OUTPUTS OF 0VER 800 WATTS ! IN BRIDGED MODE,DYNAMIC POWER INTO 4 OHMS IS AN ASTOUNDING 1400 WATTS!" How does this bridged mode work and is it effective?

The NAD 7600 is a 2 channel (stereo) receiver. Uses the 2600A amplifier section.

Not the right product for HT. The T743 is what you need.Signature goes here -

You can bridge the 7600 so that it is just a one channel mono amp.Signature goes here
