Can anyone companare SVS so RTi8 system
Since SVS is an Internet company and I don't have the opportunity to listen to their speakers, has anyone listened to these and been able to compare them to a Polk system with RTi8s?

If you mean the SVS bookshelves, they are bookshelves and won't have the bass extension the RTi8's have. You can help adding a sub, but if you ask me, I would not trade my RTi8 towers for any bookshelf speaker. If space is a concern and I had to go small, I would probably choose the SVS over any other HTIB cubes.

AGREED. only a guess on my part, but i'd pit rti6's against their bookshelf speakers, and have the rti emerge as the victor.

The RTis are a brighter speaker, more efficient and to my ears have a more dynamic sound. As a set the SBS 01s with an SVS sub are great for a small to medium sized room. The 8s smoke them.
