How in hell do you do a screen capture?

just hit print screen and open a graphics program, go to edit at select paste.

Okay, I'm an idiot. I hit "Print Screen", but the only graphics program I have is "Paint" I'm doomed.:o

Frank, you don't even need a graphics program, you can just paste it into MS Word or any word processor for that matter.
Also if you just want to capture the active window, hold the 'Alt' key and press 'Print Screen' then paste that into your target program, just the active screen will be displayed. -
