Just listened to her live acoustic EP performed at KCRW. I thought it was quite good, she covers Gorillaz - Feel Good inc. in her Portishead-esque voice. I love the acoustic version of "Love Show" by her, quite good.
It's also a very good recording with no artificial digital manipulation that I can tell. Very intimate, with a deep sound stage and (thankfully) natural reverb. On my SDA's it sounded like she was there with me. I recommend you try to find it
I've been getting into trip hop a fair amount recently: Not quite yet a classic trip hop fan (ala Portishead/Thievery Corp) but I'm liking Frou Frou, Zero 7,
and Massive Attack style music quite a bit. Guess I'm always looking for something different since the musical meltdown of talent in the 90's to the bland mush of today.
Anyways, if you like this type of thing, it's very much worth the couple bucks to pick it up.
