It don't matter, but for me red = right. If you look at alot of gear, you'll see that many right inputs are red, just so you don't think I'm half baked. Well, I am, but that's another story...

yep that`s what I figured too..!
Half Baked ?!
It`s still early...so maybe partialy baked !!!

Nice. You'll like the difference. Of course, any improvement in sound quality will be only in your head!
Joking aside, the Cardas was well worth it. The only thing I don't like are the
580/600/650 universal fit ends on the cable. The weight of my 20' long cable
sometimes loosens one of the connectors out a little, and I have to reseat it.
If the Cardas had the full size plug ends on it, I don't think I would have the problem."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
I hooked them up to the Cary 2002 pre and using the Ah! cdp, and the Nak tuna, I don`t seem to be getting much volume, so I`m warming up the Cary in the office to see if there is a problem...
Might need to just use the headphone amp for them all the time...

The Senns don't sound good or have much volume without an amp.
They are even better with tubes!"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
I've got to be careful with my set-up because left is red on my amp but right on my pre... and visa versa with black.
Or it may be the other way around. Either way, it's a little switcheroo, how-do-you-do when connecting IC's.I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -
If I may jump in here to get educated. I've always tried to use good cables (large guage copper speaker cable) for my main 2 channel speakers. Obviously most of you in this thread have some experience with the more expensive 'specialty' cables. Can you share what type of sonic difference you experience with this type of cable?SDA SRS modded: Xovrd, de-polyed, inductorized, interconnectorized, re-posted, dynamited, RDOd, spiked, gasketed, ringed (Larry's), and grill cloth blinged! Done this on my own? Not a chance. Thanks to Raife and all who forged easy to follow upgrades. At least a 100% improvement in sound and my personal listening pleasure! :cheesygrin:Pass XP-10 preamp, Parasound A21 amp, Pioneer Elite DV-58AV (Ric Shultz modded), Audioquest Sky IC's, No longer need my Sunfire sub after mods...
