Setup for the new office

Well, I've started my new job, and with it comes an office. I'm told that I'm allowed to have a... er... "radio". So, what I'm planning on is the following:
Source: work computer w/ MP3's
Amp: Sonic Impact original T-amp
Speakers: Polk Audio R150
The T-amp will cost me around $30, and whenever the R150's go back on sale, they should cost me $40 (right now they're $180!!!).
My plan for the T-amp is actually to have it powered from the computer. Since computers typically have a strong 12v DC line, I can just take a standard 4-pin Molex connector, wire it to some speaker wire (for an extension), then wire that to the appropriate connector for the back of the amp, and bingo! The PSU in the compy should have no problem keeping the T-amp running, and the t-amp should have no problem with the R150's, as volume levels are not going to be excessive in this environment (unlike my last office where we cranked the R15's pretty good)
Any thoughts from the masses?

Also, when I get the R150's in, I'm going to compare them to the R15's, which I'm running here at home as computer speakers. If I like the 150's more than the 15's, the 150's will stay here at home and the 15's will go to work... otherwise, the 150's will just go to the office.Ludicrous gibs!

Thoughts? I'm jealous...all I can do is listen to some XM on line through my laptop's speakers when no one is around....:(
Congrats on the job, the office and the new rig._________________________________________________

Thanks, HTrookie...
Listening to XM online would be a no-no @ work, due to the bandwidth used. I'll be carting my MP3's in on DVDs and dropping them on my local machine.
I have yet another possibility for a set up... Just buy the t-amp, and take the r15's from home... i'd just have to use either the SDA's or headphones when I wanted sound from the compy.
Oh, and I'm not worrying about getting this set up until after Christmas. I've got some bills to pay and presents to buy first!Ludicrous gibs! -
...or....you can take the SDA's to the office and say they are a "radio".._________________________________________________
