Pre/Amp for LC265i's & LCiC?

I am setting up a new system for an HT that will have (4) LC265i's for L/R/Surrounds, and a LCiC for the center. I have read about Outlaw & Rotel and would like to know what setups you all would recommend for $1700-$2000.

Have not heard the Outlaw - but the Rotels sound great. (1066 or 1068 - should be $800-$1,200 used)

Yes, I am looking for both a PreAmp & Amp. I have used Onkyo receivers in the past, but they will not get the job done with the LCi's.

Pre-amp I recommend Rotel. I have an NAD preamp that is very clear and would probably be very nice for music, but I find it a little to laid back for movies (will be changing out eventually, but no big hurry) Amp get whatever floats your boat. (amp and pre-amp does not need to be from the same manufacturer)

Either way - I highly recommend purchasing used.

Welcome Sakilgar. All equipment that you mentioned will do well. If you go with Outlaw you get good bang for the buck. If you go with Rotel, check Audiogon for a good deal.

As you noted Receivers won't cut it with LSI's. So make sure you get an amplifer of not less than 200wpc!
