I'd sure be interested to read what you think about this article concering what most most music industry types believe is the future of recorded music. According to the article, we won't actually "own" any music, but pay a subscription fee and "rent" music that we'll wirelessly "grab" with the players in our homes, cars etc.
They say it's a ways off, but I can't help but wonder about SQ and other issues.

I'd rather own my own unique collection of music. If I want it enough to listen to, I'll want it enough to buy.

The real purpose of DRM is not anti-piracy. It's put another quarter in the riaa/mpaa jukebox, every time you play a song or watch a movie.Win7 Media Center -> Onkyo TXSR702 -> Polk Rti70

I agree. Id rather own the music. I use pandora while at work and i love it. It also helps me find other music i want to buy and its a free service.
