TC265i versus RTi10

I am trying to decide which speakers to use for my Front L & R. I have narrowed the choices down to the TC265i (which will also be my center regardless) and the RTi10. I have listened to both and like the sound out of both but had to listen at two different stores in two completely different settings so I am not sure how true of a comparision I can do. I like the idea of in-wall for a nice clean look but I also fear that I will loose sound quality over the RTi10's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, they will be powered by a Denon 2807 or 2307ci.

if you use the lower denons, you will most definitly want to get your L/R channels amp'd if you use the rti10's. i have a set of them and i'm currently running them on a 70 watt stereo (shame on me for starving the babies...). the rti's are great. i love them all day long, but haven't had any experience with the tc265i. i don't really think you can go wrong with the tc's or the rti's......just really do some looking around for some L/R amp probably in the 200 to 250 wpc range if you are going to use the rti's

I agree the RTi-10s need more power than a receiver can provide, well at least my receiver. An amp is on my wish list for the next upgrade. Other than taking up space and needed more power I love them. The Rti-8 would be my recommendation.

I have TC60i in ceiling speakers for surround duty and I like them but have never heard the TC265i and have never heard in walls used as mains, sorry.
