    I wouldn't get it from BB as it can be found for 5-600 less elsewhere ...

    Check out Bestbuyplasmas.com .They have nothing to do with Best Buy stores. Prices are good and the service seems good. I have not used them myself, but have herd good things from friends.

    Also $116x at plasmabay.com and a few others. One site mentioned a $200 rebate - that should be available at Best Buy too - check with them. BUT I think all of those others (not Best Buy of course) fall into the "non-authorized" dealer category if that is important to you.

    Check shopping.com or bizrate.com or any of the comparison shopping sites for best price. Just be sure to factor in shipping and if you want an extended warranty, check that too - makes a BIG difference.

    That being said, you can't go wrong with that particular tv. I looked long and hard at that seires but ended up with a Pioneer - traded price for performance imho...

    You could get that TV for $999 on black Friday (I think that model, or the other 42" Panasonic Plasma HDTV) at Bestbuy, and, for those wanting a shorter line, Tweeter was price matching the sale.
